COVID-19 Unlimited Data Lift Offer - My Choice Members

Overview

As part of our efforts to help our members as much as possible during the current Coronavirus pandemic, we've been working very hard with our network partners to provide an option for increased data to those who need it.

From now through April 19, 2020, we're able to offer members on our My Choice plan the option to purchase unlimited data for the remainder of their bill cycle for $20.

 Important Note
  • The Unlimited Data Lift option is only available for members on our My Choice plan
  • In order to purchase the unlimited data lift option, your plan must already include at least 1 GB of cell data, or you must have added at least 1 GB of cell data during your current bill cycle
    • If you're on the Talk & Text only option, but would like unlimited data during this time, you will first need to add 1 GB of cell data for $5, and then you can add the unlimited data option for $20
  • Your additional data will only be available until your next bill cycle date - after your bill cycle date, your monthly data allotment will be reset to its previous amount
  • The unlimited data lift option goes into effect immediately and is non-refundable
  • This option is not available for members of our iPhone BETA
 

How to Add the Unlimited Data Lift Option

Adding the Unlimited Data Lift from the Republic App

 

 

  1. Open the Republic App
  2. Tap Manage my plan
  3. Tap the red banner that says Unlimited Data Lift - $20 one-time purchase
  4. Review the information on the screen
    • Note: The Unlimited Data Lift provides up to 30GB of high speed cellular data through the remainder of your current bill cycle. Data use notifications and warnings will be based on 30GB. If you receive a data warning and believe you'll need more data, please email us at help@republicwireless.com
  5. Tap CONFIRM DATA PURCHASE

Adding the Unlimited Data Lift from your Online Account Portal

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Under the phone you want to add data to, click I WANT TO...
  3. Click Manage My Plan
  4. Click the red banner that says Unlimited Data Lift - $20 one-time purchase
  5. Review the information on the screen
    • Note: The Unlimited Data Lift provides up to 30GB of high speed cellular data through the remainder of your current bill cycle. Data use notifications and warnings will be based on 30GB.   6. Click Confirm Data Purchase

FAQs

How long can I use the additional data from the unlimited data lift?
Your additional data will expire on your next bill cycle date, regardless of when you purchased it.

Can I take advantage of both the annual payment option that was previously offered and the unlimited data lift option?
Yes! The unlimited data lift option will work as a one-time data addition to your already existing data plan and will be automatically removed at your next bill cycle date when your monthly data normally resets.

Can I still tether?
Yes, tethering is still available as always with the My Choice plan

Why do I have to already be on a data plan or have already added data to my plan for the current month in order to purchase the unlimited data lift?
In order for the additional data provided through the unlimited data lift option to be enabled, our systems require that cellular data already exist on your service line. 

If this is "Unlimited", why am I only getting 30GB?
Due to system limitations, once 30GB of data has been consumed, we must manually override this on a per service line basis. If you consume 30GB and you need more, please email us at help@republicwireless.com.

Will the Unlimited Data Lift add 30GB of additional data to my plan, or will my limit now be set at 30GB?
With the unlimited data lift, your data limit for the remainder of your bill cycle will be set to 30GB. If you consume 30GB and you need more, please email us at help@republicwireless.com.
