- Porting out to AT&T
Answer
Some carriers are only willing to transfer numbers that are classified as wireless. Our numbers are classified as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) because of our blended WiFi/cell service, which some carriers consider to be the same as a wired line.
This is a limitation/restriction of the provider you’re porting to. We would recommend transferring to another carrier that accepts VoIP numbers and then transfer to your desired carrier.
