Headphone Jack Won't Work

Symptoms

  • Music won't play
  • No audio when using headphones
  • Loose connection with headphones

Environment

Resolution

  1. Ensure the headphone jack is clean and clear of debris
  2. Confirm headphones are fully inserted
  3. Test a different pair of headphones
  4. Test current headphones in a different phone
  5. Remove any case/cover and test the headphones
  6. If using a Motorola phone, test the Audio Jack in the Device Help App
  7. Provide a photo of the headphone jack on the phone to Republic Help
