Headphone Jack Won't Work

Symptoms

  • Music won't play
  • No audio when using headphones
  • Loose connection with headphones

Environment

Resolution

  1. Confirm headphones are fully inserted
  2. Test a different pair of headphones
  3. Test current headphones in a different phone
  4. Remove any case/cover and test the headphones
  5. If using a Motorola phone, test the Audio Jack in the Device Help App
  6. Provide a photo of the headphone jack on the phone to Republic Help
