Environment
- Almost identical Gmail accounts
- Non-member receives a member's email
Answer
A Republic Wireless Member has accidentally entered an address other than his own when creating his account.
E-mail our Help Team at help@republicwireless.com from the account receiving the e-mail for assistance.
Additional Information
Google does not acknowledge periods (".") as characters in addresses. For example: hikingfan@gmail.com, hiking.fan@gmail.com and hi.kin.g.fan@gmail.com, according to Google, are all the same. Additionally, adding a plus ("+") sign and any combination of words or numbers after an email address does not change the email and emails will still be delivered to the root address. Example: Mail that is sent to hikingfan+friends@gmail.com or hikingfan+mailinglists@gmail.com will be delivered to the root email hikingfan@gmail.com.
