Tax-exemption status cannot be added to a Community Only account or before an account is created. An order needs to be placed first and taxed.
Once an order has been placed or a phone activated:
Ask to have a credit applied to your account for the value of the order's taxes. Once the account is approved for tax-exemption status, a credit for that amount will be applied.
