Gmail App Not Syncing on Motorola 3.0 Phones


  • Gmail App for Android displays sync errors



  1. Make sure your Gmail app is up to date - if it is, reinstall the app updates for the Gmail app
  2. Turn your phone off and then back on
  3. Check your connectivity settings:
    1. Are you able to access the internet?
    2. Disable airplane mode if it is enabled
    3. Make sure Gmail sync settings are enabled
  4. Check available storage
  5. Clear your Gmail app data
    • Please Note: Doing this may delete your drafts, signature, ringtone and other settings.  Please complete this step only if the steps above do not resolve your syncing issue.
