- Turn off the RCS chat features so texts messages are sent as SMS/MMS
Environment
- All Republic Wireless phones
- Messages by Google app
Procedure
- Open Messages by Google
- Ensure you are on the page that lists different message threads with different contacts
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner
- Tap Settings
- Tap Chat features
- Toggle off Enable chat features
