Resolution
Use Stickers, Giphys and Bitmojis with caution
Cause
- Syncing data between your phone's Android Messages and Messages for Web. Messages for Web is Google's web based platform for Android Messages and enables you to view and text from a web browser. When your phone syncs with messages for web, data such as Stickers and Giphys will count against your data limit.
- Using Stickers, Giphys, Bitmoji's, etc within the Android Messages app are not considered normal SMS or MMS traffic. The app has to pull this information from the web, therefore using data. This usage counts against your data limit.
