Recent Apps Screen and Google Search Bar Are Superimposed on My Home Screen

Symptoms

  • Recent apps list in background of home screen
  • Second Google Search Bar shows behind the main one
  • May be unable to open apps 

Environment

  • Moto G3

Resolution

  1. Close Unused Apps Running in the Background
  2. Clear the App Data for the Google App
