Symptoms
- A bell with a slash through it appears next to some text threads
- No notifications for these threads come through

- Republic Wireless phones running Android Nougat
- Android Messages
Resolution
- Open the Android Messages app
- Tap the text thread in question
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner
- Tap People & options
- Toggle Notifications on (to the right)
