Unable to Set Up a Voicemail Password


  • Option to enable a voicemail password is grayed out in the Republic Wireless app
  • May be able to set a password but screen loads to a blank page


All Republic Wireless phones except the Defy XT


1.0 and 2.0 Phones

  1. Reinstall Updates for the Republic Wireless Application
  2. Reinstall the Republic Telephony Application

3.0 phones

Uninstall and Reinstall the Republic Wireless App

Once you have reinstalled the updates for Republic Wireless and Republic Telephony apps, please reboot your phone if not automatically prompted.
