Symptoms
- Not receiving texts from email addresses
- Text messages from short codes are working
Environment
- All Republic Wireless phones excluding the DEFY XT
Resolution
Enable the Email to SMS feature
Cause
By default the ability to receive SMS from email addresses is disabled within the Republic Wireless app
Additional Notes
As the DEFY XT doesn't have a Republic Wireless app, this feature isn't available for that phone
