How to Change DNS Settings on Samsung 3.0 Phones

Objective

  • Change DNS settings on Samsung 3.0 phones

Environment

  • Samsung 3.0 Phones

Procedure

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap Connections
  3. Tap WiFi
  4. Hold on the connected WiFi network
  5. Tap Manage Network Settings
  6. Tap the radio buton to show advanced options
  7. Tap IP settings and change DHCP to Static
  8. Input the IP addresses for the DNS servers you would like to connect to
  9. Tap Save

Additional Notes

If issues occur with connecting to the internet you will need to revert to your original DNS settings in order to proceed with troubleshooting:
