How to Provide Data Use Records to Republic Help for the Nexus and Google Phones

Objective

  • To Provide Data usage history to the Republic Team

Environment

  • Nexus 5X
  • Nexus 6P

Procedure

  1. Open the Republic App
  2. Tap the cell bars icon at the top-left of the screen
  3. Tap the white rectangle that says See where your data is going
  4. Take a screenshot of this page
    • Note: It may require more than one screenshot to capture all of the information on this page
  5. Open the Settings app
  6. Tap Network & Internet
  7. Tap Data usage
  8. Tap Mobile data usage or App data usage
  9. Take a screenshot of this page
    • Note: It may require more than one screenshot to capture all of the information on this page
  10. Attach screenshots to your ticket through the Gmail appthe Outlook appthe Yahoo app, or your preferred email app

Additional Notes

The data usage page will have data usage broken down by app and by date. The top park breaks it down by date, and the bottom part breaks it down by app. Both sections are helpful in determining the cause of cellular data usage
