Can You Assign a New Number to My Phone After My Existing Number Transfers Out?


  • All 1.0/2.0 and 3.0 Republic Wireless Phones 
  • Member wants to transfer Republic Wireless telephone number to another carrier


Yes, this can be done.  Before submitting the transfer request, please open a Help Ticket and request skip port out cancelation. After skip port out cancelation has been enabled, the system will automatically assign a new telephone number (based on the billing address) when the number transfer process completes. 

Additional Notes

When you have confirmed the new number has been assigned, please respond to the ticket to ensure we re-Enable Port Out Cancellation
