What Is the Difference Between 2.0 Data Roaming and OnNet Data?

Environment

Answer

Onnet data is data that you use while connected to the Sprint cellular network. Roaming data is used while you are off of Sprint's network and using one of the other carriers (AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile) networks for your cellular needs. While you are able to connect to any of the 4 major networks we only have an agreement with Sprint, therefore roaming data on any other network will be applied differently to your Republic app usage tools.

Additional Notes

Roaming data is calculated at 18.28 times more than Onnet data. Therefore, each 1MB of roaming data you use equals 18.28MB of Onnet data towards your monthly allotment. With this calculation, you can see that it does not take long to use up data while roaming.
