- Motorola 3.0 phones
- Android 8.0 Oreo
The short answer is no, and you shouldn't need to.
With Android Oreo, Google is changing the way that cached data is stored and cleared on our phones. Instead of needing to go in and clear the cache to free up space, Android Oreo does that for you as needed.
If you're experiencing problems with a specific app, however, you are still able to clear the cached data for individual apps when needed by following the steps below:
- Go to Settings > Storage
- Navigate to Other apps
- Now, tap on the app you want to clear cache for
- Tap on Clear Cache
