What Is My Account PIN from My Old Carrier?

Environment

  • Porting a number from any losing carrier

Answer

Account PIN is used to validate your association with a specific account securely. The PIN gets used when porting a number out of the losing carrier.  It verifies the identity when speaking with support. You can always reach out to your losing carrier and have them share the information you need.  Just let them know you need the password/PIN for transferring your number to another provider.

Additional Notes

The Account PIN is different from phone lock screen PIN and phone voicemail access PIN.
