How to Search For and Connect to WiFi

  • All Republic Wireless Phones

  • Republic Wireless Application


Through the Settings Menu

  1. Tap Apps
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap WiFi or Network & Internet (if phone is Motorola/Google) or Connections (if phone is Samsung)
    • Note: If tapping Network & Internet or Connections, you will need to tap WiFi before moving to step 4
  4. Tap a network to connect and enter the password (if the network requests one), then tap Connect

Through the Republic Wireless 2.0 app (only 1.0 and 2.0 phones)

  1. Tap Apps
  2. Tap the Republic icon
  3. Tap the WiFi icon 
  4. Tap on the bar at the bottom of the screen. This bar will either show your WiFi network's name, or "Not connected to WiFi" if you have not yet connected
  5. Tap a network to connect and enter the password, then tap connect

Additional Notes

  • It may be necessary to Enable Your WiFi before you can connect to a network
  • If your network name (SSID) does not show up with the list of available networks, you may need to manually enter the SSID
