Objective

Google, Motorola or Nexus Phones excluding Moto G7, Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Power and Moto E6
CDMA SIM card
Android 8.0 Oreo
Android 8.1 Oreo
Android 9.0 Pie

Make sure you are in a CDMA coverage area to update your data profile
Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi
Go to the home screen
Swipe down the Status bar twice
Tap the Settings icon (lower right)
Tap Network & internet
Tap Mobile network
- Note: If your phone is running Android 8.0 Oreo, skip to step 9
Tap Advanced
Tap Carrier settings
Tap Update device config
When the update is complete, tap OK if the message does not go away shortly

On the Moto X4, the Carrier settings option is only available after resetting the cellular network settings.
