Why Was I Charged Extra After Activating a New Phone?

Answer

When you activate a phone on a new service line, you are charged a pro-rated amount from the date of activation to the next bill cycle date for the new plan. Then on the next bill cycle date, you are charged for a full month of service for all the phones on your account.
