How to Share Your Screen with a Republic Help Agent

Objective

  • Join a ScreenMeet session initiated by a Republic Help agent

Environment

  • ScreenMeet App
  • Phones on Android 5.0+

Procedure

If ScreenMeet Is Not Installed
  1. Download the ScreenMeet Support app from the Play Store
  2. Open the app and click Cancel when it automatically attempts to connect
  3. Enter your PIN received via your ticket or given to you by a Republic agent
  4. Tap GO
  5. Tap Allow
  6. Find ScreenMeet in the list of apps and toggle the lever to the right
    • The toggle will turn blue
  7. Tap the back arrow in the upper left
  8. Tap Start now
  9. When you're done sharing your screen, tap END and tap END again to end the session
If ScreenMeet Is Installed but Has Not Been Used Before
  1. Open the app and click Cancel when it automatically attempts to connect
  2. Enter your PIN received via your ticket or given to you by a Republic agent
  3. Tap GO
  4. Tap Allow
  5. Find ScreenMeet in the list of apps and toggle the lever to the right
    • The toggle will turn blue
  6. Tap the back arrow in the upper left
  7. Tap Start now
  8. When you're done sharing your screen, tap END and tap END again to end the session
If ScreenMeet Is Installed and Has Been Used Before
  1. Open the app and click Cancel when it automatically attempts to connect
  2. Enter your PIN received via your ticket or given to you by a Republic agent
  3. Tap GO
  4. Tap Allow
  5. Tap Start now
  6. When you're done sharing your screen, tap END and tap END again to end the session

Additional Notes

  • You can chat with the Republic Help agent while sharing your screen in the ScreenMeet app
  • Accept any prompts that appear on your screen from ScreenMeet
