- 1.0/2.0 Motorola Phones
Due to these phones having very little internal storage space to begin with, the storage fills up quickly. In addition to this, updates to system software and applications pile up on the phones internal storage over time, resulting in less available storage space for other media and updates.
While some media can be stored on an SD card, there are specific media that can only be stored on the phone storage (software updates, Google applications, etc...). While some media can be deleted to create more storage space (pictures, music, apps like Facebook and Snapchat), other media necessary for the functionality of the phone cannot be removed (software updates, Google applications, etc...).
- The only 1.0/2.0 phones compatible with MicroSD card are the Moto G3 and the Moto E2 with a maximum capacity of 32GB.
