How to Add One-Time Data to Your My Choice (4.0) Plan

Objective

  • Add one-time data to your My Choice (4.0) plan

Environment

Procedure

For Republic Wireless app version 3.17+

  1. Open the Republic app
  2. Tap Manage My Data & Plan at the bottom of the screen  
    • If prompted, sign in with your email address and password
  3. Tap the + icon above Add data now
  4. Tap the + or - icon to adjust how much data you'd like to purchase
  5. Review the info on the screen
  6. Tap CONFIRM DATA PURCHASE

 From Your Republic Wireless Online Account Portal

  1. Sign into your online account portal
  2. Click on My Lines
  3. Scroll down to the phone you want to add data to
  4. Click on the Manage My Plan option located next to the picture of the cell phone
  5. Click Add data now
  6. Click the Plus or Minus icons to select the amount of cell data you would like to purchase
  7. Click Review Order
  8. Review the order details (including taxes) and click Confirm Data Purchase once ready

Additional Notes

  • Only account owners can add data to a service line
  • One-time data purchases will take effect immediately
  • Data added through a one-time purchase will expire at the end of your monthly billing cycle, even if you are subscribed to the Annual Payment Option.
  • One-time data purchases do not change future months' data amounts. To change your recurring monthly data amount, see How to Change Your Plan
  • Data can be added multiple times per billing cycle up to 15 GBs per service line
  • You can quickly add 1 GB of data by tapping on Add 1 GB of data now located above Manage my data (only available with RW app version 3.23+)
