Procedure
If you are remaining a Republic Wireless member:
If you are not remaining a Republic Wireless member:
- Sign in to your Account
- Click on My Account
- Under the phone you’d like to deactivate, click I WANT TO…
- Click Cancel Service
- Fill out the fields below Submit a Request
- Subject/Title
- Description
- Cancellation Reason
- Phone number(s) you wish to cancel
- Are you planning on transferring/porting your number to another carrier?
- If you do not want to keep your number, or if you're working with Republic Help to have your number moved to another Republic account, click No
- If you do want to keep your number to move it to another provider, click Yes
- If you're not keeping your number, review the information on the screen and enter the phone number associated with the phone you're deactivating
- Click the Submit to complete your cancellation request
- An agent will follow back up once the service line(s) have been canceled
Additional Notes
If after clicking the I WANT TO... does not prompt you to Submit a Request then follow these steps
- After Click Cancel Service
- You'll be asked whether or not you'd like to keep your current phone number
- If you do not want to keep your number, or if you're working with Republic Help to have your number moved to another Republic account, click No
- If you do want to keep your number and move it to another provider, click Yes
- You'll be asked whether or not you'd like to keep your current phone number
- If you're not keeping your number, review the information on the screen and enter the phone number associated with the phone you're deactivating
- Click the green checkmark to complete your request
- After you've submitted your request, you'll receive an email
If your account only has one service line, it will automatically be closed when you deactivate your phone.
