  • Republic Wireless 1.0 and 2.0 phones
  • SIM card was inserted in another device (phone, smart watch, tablet)


  1. Open a help ticket
  2. Republic help can lookup and provide the PIN Unlocked Key (PUK)


A PIN Unlocked Key (PUK) error message presents itself if you try to take the SIM card to a different phone or device (which won't work anyway).

Additional Notes

Your phone will function fine without a SIM card, but won't have access to 4G LTE services on Sprint.
