Ting Invalid "PIN/Password" Exception Message


  • Port order is being rejected for invalid "PIN/Password"


  • Porting a number to Republic Wireless from Ting


  • Log in to your ting.com account
  • Select the Account settings tab
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Port out information
    • Note: Your PIN should be listed and is specific to the phone number you want to port out
  • Go to your email and locate the "Phone Number Port Exception" email
  • Reply back with the PIN number


Ting rejected the port order due to an invalid PIN/Password

Additional Notes

Ting typically requires a 6 digit PIN number on your port order
