Receiving "Error Retrieving Information From Server [DF-CHARTA-01]" Message in the Google Play Store


  • "Error Retrieving Information From Server [DF-CHARTA-01]" message
  • "The item you were attempting to purchase could not be found" when attempting to update Republic Wireless application
  • Unable to access Google apps


  • All Republic Wireless Phones running Android 5.1 and higher
  • Work-provided Google Account or University-based Google Account
  • Play Store app


  1. Add a separate, personal Google account to the phone
  2. Open the Play Store app
  3. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner
  4. Tap the down arrow to the left of your email address
  5. Ensure the personal account is selected


Google account does not have permission to access Google apps because it is not an administrator

Additional Notes

You may want to contact the account administrator for your work account about allowing Google apps to allow the account to work correctly.
