Additional Notes

For Republic Wireless 1.0 and 2.0 Phones safe mode will not disable the Republic app.

For any new phone, a good rule of thumb is that safe mode may not disable the Republic Wireless app with certain Motorola phones. If the app is not disabled in safe mode (i.e. you can open the Republic app while in safe mode), you should be able to test outbound & inbound calling and messaging to/from your Republic telephone number. If the app is disabled in safe mode (i.e. greyed out, unable to open or access the app) outbound calls and texts will utilize the underlying cell number (will show up as a different number on the receiving end) This should still be verified on a per-phone basis.
