Straight Talk Account Number Exception Message

 

Symptoms

  • "Order is being rejected for account number" exception message

Environment

  • Transferring from Straight Talk To Republic Wireless

Resolution

  1. Open the exception email from Republic Wireless
  2. If the phone was purchased through Straight Talk then reply back with the serial number of your Straight Talk phone
  3. If the phone was not purchased through Straight Talk then reply back with the last 15 digits of the SIM card number

Cause

The carrier rejected the port request due to an invalid account number being submitted
