*Some phones, especially Samsung, sold from third-party vendors may not be truly unlocked despite being sold as such. For more info, see How Do I Know If My Phone Will Be Compatible (BYOP)? For Samsung phones, the model number physically printed on the back of the phone is the source of truth in determining if a phone is compatible.
Additional Notes
- CDMA-compatible phones bought from the Republic Wireless Online Store are shipped with either a GSM or a CDMA SIM card depending on which will provide the best coverage experience for the ZIP code that was entered during checkout.
- All SIM card kits purchased through the Republic Online Store are GSM SIM cards. If you want a CDMA SIM card for your phone, see: How to Request a 3.0 CDMA SIM Card Swap
- This list includes phones that may no longer be sold on republicwireless.com but are still eligible for the Bring Your Own Phone Program. Although, if you do Bring Your Own Phone we cannot guarantee it can be activated on CDMA even if it's a phone on this list.
