Not Getting Email-To-SMS With Republic Anywhere on Motorola 3.0 Phones

Symptoms

  • Not getting email to SMS
  • Messages are seen in portal history

Environment

  • Motorola 3.0 phones
  • Republic Anywhere app
  • Android Messages app
  • Email to SMS feature is enabled
  • Correct address is being used to send messages

Resolution

  1. Uninstall Republic Anywhere app
  2. Switch default messenger to Android Messages
  3. Re-install Republic Anywhere app
  4. Switch default messenger to Republic Anywhere
