Error "We're Currently Unable to Determine the Status of Your Phone" When Activating a 1.0 or 2.0 Republic Wireless Phone

  • "We're currently unable to determine the status of your phone" error message



  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap About phone
  3. Take a screenshot of the Baseband version, System version, and Build number
  4. Tap Status 
  5. Take a screenshot of the Wi-Fi MAC address and the Serial number
  6. Tap IMEI information 
  7. Take a screenshot of the MEID and ICCID
    • Note: The Moto E1 and Moto G1 will not have an ICCID field
  8. Attach the screenshots to your existing Help Ticket
    • Note: If you don't currently have an open Help Ticket, please open one and attach the aforementioned screenshots
