FAQs
Does the microphone work on the DEFY XT while headphones are plugged in?
Yes, this has been tested and works great!
Is Adobe Flash supported on the DEFY XT?
Yes, the DEFY XT does support Adobe Flash for playback.
What's the difference between the single-band DEFY XT and the dual-band DEFY XT?
In the US, cellular service uses 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies. Not all towers operate on the same spectrum frequency; for example, more rural areas typically use only the 800MHz frequency.
How does this relate to the DEFY XT? The single-band DEFY XT only roams on the 1900MHz frequency. Some cell towers only utilize the 800MHz frequency, so this means there are some areas where the single-band DEFY XT won't have cellular service. The dual-band version operates on both the 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies, giving you extended cellular coverage when you roam.
How do I transfer my contacts to or from my DEFY XT?
Contacts saved to your Google account will sync once you’ve signed in to your Google account on your new phone. See Sync My Google Account.
You can also use Motorola Migrate (Lollipop) or import a .vcf file containing your contacts. SSee Manage Contacts for Motorola DEFY XT and Manage Contacts (for Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen.), Moto G, and Moto E) for more info.
